Things to Say When Caught Sleeping at Your Desk ...

I have posted this before, always worth a repeat...

Now wake up! pay attention! Next time you get caught, here's your excuse...

10.  "They told me at the Blood Bank this might happen."

9.  "This is just a 15 minute power nap they raved about in the time
management course you sent me to!"

8.  "Whew! Guess I left the top off the Whiteout. You probably got here
     just in time."

7.  "I wasn't sleeping! I was meditating on the problem at hand and
     envisioning a new strategy."

6.  "I was testing my keyboard for drool resistance."

5.  "I was doing a highly specific Yoga exercise to relieve work-related
stress. Are you discriminatory toward people who practice Yoga?"

4.  "Darn! Why did you interrupt me? I had almost figured out how to
handle that issue (or cite current problem) we are encountering."

3.  "Did you ever notice sound coming out of these keyboards when you put
    your ear down real close?"

2.  "Who put decaf in the wrong pot?!?"

AND THE NUMBER ONE best thing to say if you get caught sleeping at your
desk........

1.  Raise your head slowly and say, "...in Jesus' name, Amen."

I Survived...

This show is a little unnerving to me, yet I still watch it.  I don't know why really other than knowing people can survive when placed in circumstances beyond their control.  I like to watch it to a point, but then it freaks me out, thinking there are such evil people out there who do such random acts of violence toward others for no reason whatsoever, and to young innocent adolescents.  It defies the mind, doesn't it?

All we have to do is be the wrong place at the wrong time, and it could be a fight for survival.  Sometimes even the sanctuary of one's home doesn't keep evil out.  I guess when one is faced with death they are going to fight tooth and nail to survive, or do whatever they think they need to do in order to survive, even if that means being violated.  Its hard to believe such evil does walk among us.  There is another show I watch about unsolved cases or court cases where the guilty are brought to justice, and it boggles my mind to hear of such heinous crimes.  Yet again there are the shows where people died or were killed in a residence, however haunting the new residents of occupants.

I remember thinking my brother and I could have been casualties; as I spied two guys acting sneaky with big knives coming over to where we were by the creek sitting on a rock, so I told him we'd better take off, and we did lickity-split!  Then there was the time I was walking nonchalantly up the sidewalk in front of the First Baptist Church, and I heard something behind me, Yes indeedy! It was a yellow Volkswagen actually on the sidewalk with some bearded guy, all I could see was hair and his daunting smile, some freak, probably on some hallucinogen who chased me up to the end of that sidewalk and then he just went on...thank God.  It was funny looking back at the incident; however at 14 it wasn't so funny.  I don't think I took a breath in till I reached the IGA store where my mom/dad worked.  Yep, that was freaky. About as freaky as a few car incidents but never any serious injury.

I've never had any trauma happen to me like the survivors I've seen on this show; some of which have absolutely been horrific, and God I hope I never have to go through anything like that, or have my children or grandchildren suffer such an act of atrocity.  I did live with evil once, but I survived that...divorce can be a good thing!

At the end, the person says, I survived because...."I refused to die this way or some other revelation..."

Why is it some have to die this way, and others not...Who decides this?  Fate?  I think we are all survivors of some sort or another. Got a few feelings on this or a  story to share?

Good Day, Bloggers!

whassup?

Its Saturday and a long weekend. I could sure use one.

Here's your snicker weekender!...

..."She says that when she took antidepressants in the past they made her bald and loose. "

...actually dictated by physician as..."She says that when she took antidepressants in the past they made her 'bowels loose.'

Are you talking to me?

Today it has been wild on the workfront. Stuck files, late files, the system down for an hour this evening. Its been one thing after another. So here I am plugging along, and all of a sudden this work computer just freezes up stiff as a board; I can't navigate anything...and this appears...

"DrWatson Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

My first thought was where was Sherlock Holmes?...cracked me up! and of course the Postmortem addage...LOL..something died that's for sure!  Let me shoot this piece of shit Gateway work computer that the company gave me to use at home! Its not worth the powder and lead to blow it up!

Anyway, I figured out it probably wasn't a big whup...but

aren't you curious what it is bloggers?

If you are using Internet Explorer, Outlook or any Application, you can get Dr .Watson Postmortem Debugger error. You can also observe drwtsn32.exe process running in the task manager.Dr.Watson crashes when other applications crashed.

What’s Dr.Watson? Is this a Virus?
Dr.Watson for Windows is a debugger that will be useful to debug and creates log files when a error occurs with in a program. Technical support people will analyze these log files and fix the errors. It is not a virus or a malware program.Dr.Watson creates log files at  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson.

drwtsn32.exe _process_in _task manager

It actually crashes some times frequently and gives the error as given below.
“Dr.Watson Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problems and needs to close”

Why Dr.Watson crashes and give error?

Unfortunately, when you are browsing through Internet Explorer or working with any other program if that program crashes, then Dr.Watson program it self crashes and gives that error.

Does I really need this Dr.Watson  program?
No not really in fact Windows Error Reporting service also do the same as Dr.Watson, as you know you can send error reports to Microsoft through Windows Error  Reporting also.

What’s the Fix?
Fix to this problem is disabling Dr.Watson as we have alternative Windows Error Reporting available, we don’t require Dr.Watson .

Disabling Dr.Watson
1.Click Start>Run>type Regedit and click ok.
2.Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version
3.Select AeDebug in the right pane ,double click it and enter value 0.

disable-Dr.watson debugger_regsitry
4.Close registry editor, restart your computer.

You won’t get this error again in future.

If you have problem with access to registry, download the registry file released by Microsoft , run that registry file.

so there you have it, Bloggers, you've been edumicated! (love that word!ha!)

Go Ahead...

I think I woke up yawning. How many of yuns can see this picture and not yawn?

that's right, go ahead, get that yawn out! Its been a long Monday, and a longer Tuesday just around the corner. Ugh.

On the home front, daughter is doing well, 5 clean drug screens under her belt.   Isabella is enjoying having her mother around; both are working on crafting friendship bracelets.  She is staying in a shelter at night, working with advocates to try to get her help as far as a job and housing.  MIL (mother-in-law) wants my daughter to have more visitation with Wyatt because it frees her up to do her running around.  MIL is under scrutiny by Social Services due to an incident wherein Rae (my grown daughter) was hit by someone who had a drug grudge while Wyatt was with her, which therein precipitated Social Service involvement by ER staff, causing her not to be able to have visitation with Wyatt (her own son) unless supervised.  MIL was letting Wyatt run around with them while they were still using, however Rae is suffering the brunt of that right now in not seeing her son unless supervised by MIL (gawd what a mess still!).  MIL's baby (aka hubby to my daughter no good for nothing) is in jail still.  One would think five clean drug screens and a full month of sobriety would result in some relief to see her son.  She usually hangs out with me during the days as they kick them out of the shelter early.

On the work agenda: more red tape, more watching files closely; too many higher line document files assigned to independent contractors, an increase in expense, but hell an increase is expected with more lines being brought in to proof.  We don't have the hourly employee personnel for these long-assed winded psyche doctor reports; everything is going to independent contractors for less pay or being done offshore.  Bottom line:  The larger the document as far as lines to be paid, don't give to ICs; use offshore or employees.

This stinks. Here's a newflash:  In six months I'll probably be looking for a job due to being outsourced.

My Eye is on the Sparrow

In continuing my search for answers about the Sparrow who appeared to me at a time in my life of turmoil and upheaval, I read that there are certain animals who are spiritual totems or are your spirit guide, and this could have been a reminder to me to stand tall, steadfast, and that I would be a survivor, just like the Sparrow.

The sparrow has flourished when other species have failed. It reflects self-worth. If a Sparrow totem has entered your life, ask yourself if you know your own self-worth. The sparrow will show you that even a common little bird can triumph, and I did. I had to reach inside myself, find strength, walk with my head held high in spite of what I was going through.

I found this while researching online...The sparrow is a common song bird that reflects the significance of the common traits we share with others in humanity and life in general. The sparrow does not think of itself as common and will assert itself in life to assure its own survival. The sparrow as a totem reminds you to appreciate your place in the world. Sparrow teaches that you have self-worth. This totem can show up when you are feeling "less-than" as a reminder that you are a valuable player on the planet. It is good to remember that each person has something unique to contribute to the tribe (aka planet?).

I've only had the Sparrow appear to me up close and personal for a couple of weeks everyday, and then it was gone one day; now I know the significance of why.  Like I said, I've never had anything so profound happen to me, and probably never will again.  I went through several months of intense emotional turmoil up to that happening to me, and for some time afterwards; starting with the death of my father, my teenage daughter leaving the home, and then through a divorce with no close support of anyone around.

If a sparrow shows up:

Remember that it could be a very productive and prolific time..look for the nobility in the most common of things and people, including yourself..Walk with poise, your head held up, eyes straight ahead, showing the world your self-respect and dignity..Your heart is opening more and more to the love you receive and you you're more readily expressing love to others..your energy and vitality are awakening, and you find yourself whistling or singing without even being aware of it.

Call on a sparrow when:
Your dignity and self worth are being demeaned or threatened in some way..you're coming to the end of the hardships and travails you've faced lately..External circumstances seem to be pinning you down in some way and you want to eliminate their grip on you...Your will power has dwindled to some extent and you want to renew it.

There was a meditation exercise associated with this reading literature online, and who knows if it truly works or not. It says your spirit guide has a name possibly.  I can't imagine what that would be.  If I find out, I'll let yuns know.  Its not something one can really judge, meditating to the point of actually meeting another spirit? I've never done that, but it might be interesting to try.  Be my luck I'd be so relaxed I would fall asleep immediately.  Fascinating to me is the concept of hypnosis as well.  Fine line between the two, meditation and hypnosis I would think.

If Sparrow is your Spirit Animal:  You have little or no fear of anyone or anything and can hold your own if ever threatened. You're assertive in asking and going for what you want and are clear in refusing what you don't want..You're a survivor, and are quite comfortable wherever you happen to be and wherever you take up residence. Within your considerable humility, you freely express love and joy, which positively affects others who are near. Whenever you have to face a challenge, you do so courageously and never let yourself feel defeated.

Would a spirit guide be an actual animal, or does a spirit guide come in the form of an animal? Who believes this stuff? I guess only those who have had something happen to them?  I would not call myself a Christian, I'm not sure there is a heaven or hell, or a real 'god' but I would call myself spiritual, believing in the mystic and forces unseen.  I think we've all time traveled, we're just not cognitively aware of it.

(an excerpt from His Eye Is On the Sparrow)

Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Refrain

I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me
- Civilla D. Martin

Probably this is what Paul discovered, the sparrow’s guide to true prosperity when he said, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. Indeed its immensely comforting to know that even when times get tough and you get hard pressed on very side, you will not be crushed as God is working behind the scenes. Jesus remarked that are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without God knowing. Even the very hairs of your head are numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

The Edge of Madness

You'll know it when you see it, and when you do, the desire will be great to stop the car, get out, walk through every nook and cranny as if it were familiar to you, remarking at just beyond there is a room filled with dried flowers and herbs hanging from the ceiling, fruit and canning jars, how would I know this? I know I will feel it...the question is when... and look...beyond...there, the fruit shoot they called it in where the crops and orchards' beauties were hauled in for canning, pickling, storage; a pleasant two story farmhouse, a homey place, or was it?

I felt drawn there, or forced there...my heartbeat raced...I felt chased on roads by unknown forces, those images blurring past my visual fields in such a fast motion that taking in the scenery was impossible, only there was no scenery, only a road; stayed focused, just drive...this winding road, if I veered off, I would drop off into some unknown abyss; a blinding light, a blink, and there it was...the house, surreal sitting there beckoning. How did I get there? Why was I there? I felt urgency to enter. The only way to get in was through the fruit shoot, once inside you could never leave the maze of the home, you were a captive, eyes followed you...were those really dried flowers and herbs or remains of human heads with hair? a sinister evil house. I woke up in a sweat...for days this would continue, for a couple of weeks. I would wake up, only to fall back asleep and like a movie reel it would continue right where it left off. Why was this happening? What was its significance? Deep down I knew.

Have you ever had such a profound dream, one in which you truly knew each night you would fall asleep only to pick up where you left off? Funny this has happened to me several times. I have at times willed myself to wake wanting out, out of this dream, this house. I've seen things, felt things, and strange things have happened to me. A long time ago it was a sparrow, a song sparrow, a little bird who sang a message to me by pecking furiously upon my window; at other times a gentle peck so as to let me know of its presence.  It would peck until I would look up from whatever I might be doing in the kitchen/dining/livingroom, almost as if it needed to be acknowledged, as most of the house in the back was glass.  I never truly knew his message. It would follow me from one room to another, I would get scared and leave the home.  I thought I might go mad at the time, however I was not losing my mind. This was witnessed by son and his girlfriend who were staying with me at the time. While Beth was there one day, we were sitting talking, and it came and it pecked on every pane in my french back doors. I had it on video once, those tapes were seized for other purposes.

Beth got spooked by it. What was its message? I walked right up the window where it was, it never once backed down. I was told it was an omen, a bad sign, something bad was going to happen and it did. I never talked about it really because people think what they will about you, like you've made it up, but I wished I could say it was made up. Looking back, maybe I could have changed the outcome of a life altering experience; the loss of my child, not through death but through a divorce. I was working against evil at the time, and I think evil won that battle, but eventually I won the war.

Perhaps it wasn't an omen at all, much less a bad omen, but a spirit of some sort, that both intrigued and frightened me. I had lost my father a few months earlier. Just as mysteriously as it had started, the bird stopped coming. I wrote about it, I wrote about all my feelings at the time. Since then I haven't had too many things happen in a surreal realm of that magnitude, especially with the bird that went on for a couple of weeks, nor have I written due to the fact that my own words would be twisted and used against me by evil minds who cannot see past their own nose, or feel anything beyond their own grasp. I can honestly say I was wide awake in dreamland at that time. I think we learn to tune out, or pull back in from the edge of madness to the boredom of reality, whichever it was. Have you ever had anything that weird happen to you?

Something Borrowed and Something HotSnot Pink? holey shiz

I love going to Wal-Mart as much as the next person, but some of these people are a little eccentric in their clothing and acessories....take this guy for instance, who is fashion diva NOT ~! what makes him think that shirt goes with that skirt? uhhmm...ladies?

Listen pal, I just had a conference call with the Itty Bitty Titty Committee and we’ve decided that while we understand what upsides the mustache brings to the table, it still doesn’t completely make up for the whole gut past the chest look, so we’re gonna need you to go ahead and get on that.

                    How to Bathe a Cat...

No I haven't been swimmin' in the toilet, why do you ask?
1. Thoroughly clean the toilet.

2. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water, and have both lids lifted.

3. Obtain the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

4. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids (you may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape). CAUTION: Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out for anything they can find. The cat will self-agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from your toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power wash" and "rinse" which I have found to be quite effective.

6. Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

8. The now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside where he will dry himself.

An old married couple was at home watching TV. The husband had the remote and was switching back and forth between a fishing channel and the porn channel.

The wife became more and more annoyed and finally said: "For God's sake! Leave it on the porn channel.

You already know how to fish!"

Suspicious Google Activity

In all these years, I have never once gotten any message from Google that there was suspicious activity on my Google accounts. I got this prompt when trying to login today to my accounts, and had to call a phone number to get a verification, and then make a new password. What is up with that, and did you guys have to do this too?

Dammm...Don't Mess With The Kitty

and her cigarette addiction! hahaha!

and this video is downright cute! this cat is scaring itself! hilarious!

my head hurts...but I don't think I got a temperature.

Yesterday I was nauseated all day, today I felt headachy, just not on top my game.  I know the stress is getting to me, and both my boss and I laughed this evening on the phone at nearly 6! ugh! She was leaving the office, I was trying to get out of the shower to run some errands.  I am also starting to feel a little run down, my muscles are more achy, so I think a shot or two of b12 might be in order.

This week has been a killer work-wise, with nearly 700 jobs on the system Monday morning.  Me and my boss exchanged a little verbiage back and forth, some good, some ugly, but we give and take it with a grain of salt.  Its all good.  Girls gotta vent you know.  I am trying to move staff around on accounts, and trying to make sure our most complaining accounts are given top priority. I am the FQA Team Lead for US Production in charge of numerous accounts, and numerous employees and ICs (independent contractors); right now there's Cheryl, Cheryl #2, Cynthia, Francis, Jamie, Linda, Lisa, Amy, Deanna, Steve, and Kristi...did I forget anybody?  oh yeah, Barbara, Monica, and Robin...they are strung out all over the US. I manage their schedules and workload, to include weekend coverage for clients. Did I say I was exhausted? LOL...

In all the madness, we lost an evening shift person, and also a person who helped on audits.  I was teaching her to help manage in my absence, and she was overseeing the evenings, cleaning up from dayshift.  I often wondered, as did my boss, how trustworthy this person truly was.  I would log on, she wasn't on; the girl who normally worked evenings told me she was never available to her, and she was supposed to be.  There was always a nagging suspicion surrounding her.  I could never quite put my finger on it, and when she didn't get the schedule she wanted, she said "I am resigning immediately!"  Well...so much for that.  Maybe we will get a better replacement; I don't know.  I am supposed to be off this Monday and Tuesday, just because I need rest, but I can't leave things in a lurch. I have to help Deb (my boss) with this mess.  Its been a week of issues, issues, and more issues.  Just when you think you got a handle on it, the handle breaks! Gotta love management!

Mother's Day

I promised Mother's Day pics. Here is my daughter and granddaughter...acting goofy for the camera.

Many of you know the plight of this family for some time.  My daughter has struggled with drug addiction, bad marriage, losing custody of her own children, putting up with an addicted husband/codependency, however finally has come to see the light of day.

She is working hard to earn back self-respect, earning trust from family, and more importantly trying to mend relationships in her life.  Lets hope her efforts continue for the sake of her children.  Her hubby is where he needs to stay, in jail, and Rae is stronger everyday.

She is looking actively for a job, and a place to live, and is currently staying at the local shelter, hanging out with me during the days.  She has never felt the need to be alone, sometimes to the point of being around less than desirable humans (especially that husband of hers) and prefers to be in the company of someone.  She just doesn't like to be alone, or feel alone.

I can honestly say I have hope for her. I haven't seen her this well in a long time.  There is always hope.  As long as we breathe its all about hope and family.

Gatlingburg in June

My son is getting married in June to his live-in girlfriend of a few years now. I guess they've decided to make it legal for whatever reason. Its not their first rodeo at being married; both of them have been there, done that, and divorced their first spouses. She has children from her first marriage.

The wedding is June 3rd in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, 5 nearly 6 hours away! ugh. I am not one to sit in a car that long. I am going to hate driving that distance. You can't fly there or get a bus there, even still who would want to bus that long. I was thinking train, but even they don't go to Gatlinburg, only Memphis and one other city in Tennessee will Amtrak go to. Memphis? Shiz. I ain't going there.

Pictures of The Highlands Condominium, Gatlinburg
This photo of The Highlands Condominium is courtesy of TripAdvisor

The Highlands Condominiums is where the wedding will be held outside on a mountaintop, and the prices of the condominiums are decent, really nice. Here is the link. I think we should be making a reservation and soon! I think a 3-bedroom condo unit is 219 a night, that's only 70 some bucks per family unit, say me, sis, and my daughter and her boyfriend. That's not too shabby. It comes with 2 full baths, full kitchen, private balconies, its nice. I might get there and never leave! LOL

Anybody live in Gatlinburg?

Open for Table suggestions...

I love it when I can find that I want. I needed a table, just the right height, not too big, round, and I found it today; however it needs a little TLC, and for 5 bucks it was steal!

as you can see, its octagon, has claw feet, its very sturdy built, cherry I think; however it appears that it sat outside in the rain/weather, which destroyed part of the middle of the top.  It has veneer layers, not sure what the original inlay was, however this will need to smoothed out and something else installed.

I was thinking perhaps a piece of glass cut to fit, so I could put family pics underneath it, or tile and grout it with something interesting, cut glass...got any suggestions?

I Am a Persistent Little Shit...

 One thing about it...

if something bugs me, I do my darndest to fix it.  Like this darn blog, for instance.  Its been acting up for about a week now.  First I thought it was because I put that "reply" thing in.  Also I hadn't been receiving my comments email for the last week.  It was starting to really annoy me...LOL...I made a post, and thought perhaps a "link" threw something off, so I deleted any oddball links, placing text after them because sometimes they'll latch on and make all your text linkage, ya know...I thought it was my music player...then I deleted that post, put another up, same thing.  I didn't have a comment box.  grrrrrr!

So, when I got back home from going flea marketing (I found the table I was looking for), I sat down to fix this darn thing once and for all, enough is enough already!  I changed some settings, checking/rechecking, and then I said to hell with it...walked away, came back, and decided the only thing to do was to reupload my template.  If I did that though, I might lose all my widgets and stuff I'd put on my sidewalls, so I was reluctant to do so; however, I did it anyway, and by golly gee...this geeky girl fixed this blog once again.  I even widened it, to make more room for each column, header, footer, and expanded each, to include changing the font size in the header.  Damn I"m good...LOL...

Now that I got this darn thing to work, lets get back to some tunes...let me introduce you to my PinkPod Rock-N-Blues

This has been removed but you'll find the link in The Lounge under Blues.

surely this thing will play and there'll be no interruption in our regularly scheduled blogging program to include comments and the like...

what's hangin'...

hey bloggers! its been a long week here, and even longer on a personal level, actually the personal aspect isn't so bad after all, good news really.  Work has been quality issues, meetings, lots of emails causing FQA management to cringe due to client complaints; and when there are quality issues it falls to FQA, and when it falls to FQA, of course, we have to start looking at whose responsible.  It will get hairy this week coming when all the documents are back for review. Oh joy, can't wait for that...

On a personal level, after a few years of crazy madness, bad marriage, loss of her own children, and dignity, my daughter has returned to me, struggling with the aftermath of drugs, but doing well, looking better everyday, going to the clinic, trying to straighten out this mess that was her life. She's making a good effort.  I see it.  I have hope for her.  She is trying so hard to win her place back in the family.  She has missed herself, and hopes to get back stronger, happier, healthier.  She's cleaned my house from top to bottom nearly, washing dishes, enjoying time with her own daughter, and really is remorseful and glad to be able to engage appropriately.   She's even started jogging and exercising and I see a change.  Its hard to have to turn your back on a drug addicted adult child, but accepting her back is one I feel good about.  She is made out of tough stuff, just like me, and sometimes tough love is the best love.   She's got a long road, but she'll get there, one foot in front of the other.  Isabella is really enjoying her mom, back to feeling love from 'mom' once again.  Its a good thing.  Both girls got their hair cut, I'll post a pic of my daughter and Isabella tomorrow, its mother's Day! Happy Mother's Day to all you kick-ass moms out there. We are going to hangout and go flea marketing...

What about the her hubby?  He's in jail ... going to spend another 45 days there, and then go back to another county to face the violated parole.  Whats sad is Wyatt, whose 4, and clings to his mommy, she cries when she has to leave him with her in-laws.  I know how that feels as a mother; I lived something similar.  The only thing she can do at this point, is get her dignity and self respect back, get a job, divorce skank ass no good for nothing addict husband and his family, and get on with the purpose of living and getting her son back.  She's met someone too through all her turmoil, someone who has never touched a drug in his life, but who really seems to care, a real genuine article.  He's a likable guy.  Just when you think all hope is lost, things change.  Let's hope it progresses.

Yes, those documents will show us the evidence of who is reading the files and doing their job, and who was just shuffling lines and uploading, without truly proofreading these reports.  The motto is assume nothing, check everything! somebody's ass might get whacked, lets hope its not me.

well, that's life in Urbappalchia, hows life in your neck of the woods?

Tick Tock, Tick Tock...still watching the clock?

If you guys have been back to Blogstream then you've noticed that today, May 5th, Thursday, the place is still up and running? What the crap? I don't know about you, but I thought the plug was going to be pulled several days ago. I deactivated my blog there because just the waiting was getting on my last nerve. Why? I don't know. It just doesn't seem right to linger.

Does anybody know why this site is still ongoing? Its like watching death come slow.  What kind of feelings are you having about this?

Landscape Art

This art work of the Mona Lisa was actually burned into the landscape near Toledo Oregon.

Isn't this interesting?  Check out the link.  This guy has some great works!

by the way, what is that black thing? any guesses?

Time of Death

well gang, did they finally flip the switch off on Blogstream?

anybody got an official time of death?

pictured is Ole Sparky...

which leads me to this question...

if asked, would you have willingly witnessed a Death Row electrocution by means of Ole Sparky? or have you ever witnessed it?

The use of "Ole Sparky" has declined due to laws enacted against it, and also in favor of lethal injection, which is widely believed to be a more humane method of execution. Today it is only maintained as a secondary method that may be chosen over lethal injection at the request of the prisoner. In the states of Kentucky and Tennessee, the electric chair has been retired except for those whose capital crimes were committed prior to legislated dates in 1998 (Kentucky: March 31, 1998; Tennessee: December 31, 1998) and chose electrocution. In both states, inmates who do not choose electrocution or inmates who committed their crimes after the designated date are killed by lethal injection. I would think that the prospect of having to die by electrocution might curtail heinous crimes, however on second thought obviously not.

IE or Mozilla...that is the question....

hey bloggers, in case you haven't noticed, there are such differences in IE compared to Mozilla browser, and depending on which browser you use, your blog could and will look different. I noticed this mostly when I was putting in codes for different colors on blogs such as Blogstream, viewing it in Mozilla and in IE, both a little different.

I just noticed that if I viewed my page in IE, my links at the top right don't show up, i.e., home and the escape button...

Is it perhaps I just need to update my browser? hahaha!

tell me, tell me...geeky girl minds want to know!

Glad to see Slick and Bupu2 over here!
