gloomy rainy day...

Will my car insurance go up if its my fault?
well it appears I don't get an award per se but my fault is forgiven acc to State Farm being I am 10 years accident-free driver, so I won't suffer any high premiums to my comprehensive car insurance. that is gr8 news!
but my car? she is in sad shape...yuns know plastic bumpers and grills don't hold up these days...however my rental car is awesome! :)
Sloppy MT work...
Nothing like a 25 minute STAT dictation first thing Monday morning....
I'm reading along...as this female doctor is dictating..."She endorses a cough which has made her rib cage and abdominal wall muscles sore, mayonnaise, decreased appetite with little intake of food and fluids by mouth, and sleeping most of the week..."
oops back up ... mayonnaise? I'm pretty sure that's malaise...
yep US MTs...do they really think this is correct instead of just leaving a blank line...
I don't have the patience for this today...my body feels like its been runover by a Mack truck when in reality its just because I rammed my front end into a van over the weekend....gawd.. I felt like a crash test dummy.... :( I'm about out of Advil cause I'm eating them like candy...
somebody send me in a masseuse, would ya?
I am carless. once again. Calling my insurance agent this morning at 9. I'm gonna beg Scott to pay for me a massage.

Where is Spring?
Its a whole 30 degrees out there! brrrrrr! My daughter called and is 2 hours from home, driving all the way from California. They failed to bring winter clothing but they might need it! LOL
haha!
I am easily entertained I suppose, esp on a Saturday morning after I've slept in and feel fabulous, but going through a list of funny pics somebody sent me email this one really got me! love it.
TGIF!

even though I was off a day this week...Friday shift end can't come too soon! :) I think granddaughter wants to take an excursion to the mall after while..I'm not enthused about it. :( She has this fascination with my phone when she isn't supposed to "have a phone right now" so I will avoid that by leaving my phone at home....its not like I have to worry about missing a call from anybody important. The only calls I get presently seem to be bill collectors...and I need to get my taxes done and pay my car taxes before the month is over. ugh :( I need to get on the ball and get that done.
Guess what tomorrow is...
and...
what are the chances of hump day and my birthday falling on the same day?

oooh and the day off so I can hump all day...now where is that little black book...jk...
hahaha!
shamie! shamie!
A 6 year old and a 4 year old brothers were upstairs in their bedroom.
The 6 year old asks, "You know what? I think it's about time we started cussing."
The 4 year old nods his head in approval.
The 6 year old continues, "When we go downstairs for breakfast, I'm gonna say something with hell and you say something with ass."
The 4 year old agrees with enthusiasm.
When the mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year old what he wants for breakfast, he replies,
"Aw, hell, Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios."
WHACK! He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out, with his mother in hot pursuit, slapping his rear with every step. His mom puts him in his room and shouts, "You can stay there until I let you out!"
She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year old and asks with a stern voice, "And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?"
"I don't know," he blubbers, "but you can bet your fat ass it won't be Cheerios!"
Was It a Tornado?

I don't know but it sure felt like one, as yesterday morning we got hit with some gale force winds 💨 that took out power to over 5000 customers in my area including me, and my power NEVER goes out.

This is the first time I’ve lost power for any length of time; sometimes I have had a flicker but nothing like this. Those poles were leaning pretty good, and there was a lot of wind damage including blowing in of entrance doors to a Kohl’s store on up the road about a mile from this picture. It also took part of the roof off the mall across the street from this picture, and took the roof off of a warehouse close by as well.

This area is only a short drive from where I live in downtown and I drove out yesterday to check out the damage, which in itself was dangerous as the stoplights were out. Supposedly the Ashland Police Department shared a post on Facebook sharing what to do when driving through these areas (which nobody seemed to be doing and who would know this if you didn’t have access to social media because you had no power? ):
-A flashing red signal light should be treated as a stop sign.
-A flashing yellow signal light means that drivers should proceed with caution.
-No signal lights mean that the traffic light area should be treated as a four-way stop.
Right…like I said who knew the rules?? That was bullshit…it was dangerous out there…LOL! As for myself, the trampoline in the backyard was thrown up against the neighbors fence, it was legless and bent, and I had to tie it down to the deck in the torrential rain that we had as well, or it was going to becoming a flying frisbee with those winds. My power was out for 6 hours, starting at around 9 AM.
You don’t know how much you miss electricity until you have none.
I had to drive to the nearest business to charge my cellphone. Power finally came back up around 2 PM yesterday. Its a good thing it wasn’t freezing cold out.
