Did You Make It Over?

As I was moving posts over, as you can see, here is the first Saturday Night Blog Fever in its infancy! (click on the 2006 link) It is a rather short post, isn't it? Back then, we weren't so savvy and were lucky to just be able to post music, as there were not too many sites around at that time. Some of the sites we used went whacko, remember? and back then we didn't know how to manipulate the codes to get them to play automatically or to shut them up! Wow, we certainly have come a long way in our Saturday Night Blog Fevers, and with our graphics, haven't we?

I hope you guys enjoy the archives and comments associated with them. It brings back a lot of fond memories of perhaps what Blogstream used to be, but even if you weren't there at that time, I'm glad you're here now. I don't know that I won't return to Blogstream, but for the present time, I just need time off from that emotion.

I can see our brains were thinking in the same direction tonight. Heatherscot is pushing the margaritas, and I just left a summer song list over at Sherry's that has some of the same songs on it. How about some 'sex on the beach'? I am not good at driving boats, though. Seems like any time I get in one, after about 10 minutes I'm falling asleep. all in a day's work

hi there. being a Quality Analyst for a medical transcription company doesn't have too many perks except an occasional ROFLMAO at some typos or Speech Recognition (SR) boo-boos I find on nearly a daily basis...

SR Drafted: "The patient is currently single and is in a sedating relationship."

Dictated: The patient is currently single and is in a dating relationship. (I need one of those!) :)

MT typed that this female patient is vulvar aggressive. (and you thought PMS was bad...LOL!) Yep even you can be a vulvar aggressive female, if you're a female that is! haha! (actually dictated as verbal aggression)

The Pt will need to have cereal H&Hs...haha! should be serial H&Hs (hemoglobin and hematocrits)

He spoke in cartoon voices in an attempt to be humerus.

"The patient is in for followup of her solitary right kitty" ...WTF?

"The patient was playing with an eye pad during therapy."

skitsofrenic...? wow! now here's a good speller!

he had disheveled snow ...dictated as he had to shovel snow

The patient has a pet grandog named Porky... dictated as "groundhog" hahaha!! cracked me up!

This gentleman continues to do a support job with regards to using CPAP. ...dictated as superb job!

The patient is allergic to poison IV. hahaha!

with rest and paint thinners he states he is feeling better...LOL...since when does paint thinners sound like pain killers? ha! I suppose if you huff enough paint thinner you might feel better!

Can somebody tell me what a splenic fracture is? good gravy Mabel!
