what's hangin'...

hey bloggers! its been a long week here, and even longer on a personal level, actually the personal aspect isn't so bad after all, good news really.  Work has been quality issues, meetings, lots of emails causing FQA management to cringe due to client complaints; and when there are quality issues it falls to FQA, and when it falls to FQA, of course, we have to start looking at whose responsible.  It will get hairy this week coming when all the documents are back for review. Oh joy, can't wait for that...

On a personal level, after a few years of crazy madness, bad marriage, loss of her own children, and dignity, my daughter has returned to me, struggling with the aftermath of drugs, but doing well, looking better everyday, going to the clinic, trying to straighten out this mess that was her life. She's making a good effort.  I see it.  I have hope for her.  She is trying so hard to win her place back in the family.  She has missed herself, and hopes to get back stronger, happier, healthier.  She's cleaned my house from top to bottom nearly, washing dishes, enjoying time with her own daughter, and really is remorseful and glad to be able to engage appropriately.   She's even started jogging and exercising and I see a change.  Its hard to have to turn your back on a drug addicted adult child, but accepting her back is one I feel good about.  She is made out of tough stuff, just like me, and sometimes tough love is the best love.   She's got a long road, but she'll get there, one foot in front of the other.  Isabella is really enjoying her mom, back to feeling love from 'mom' once again.  Its a good thing.  Both girls got their hair cut, I'll post a pic of my daughter and Isabella tomorrow, its mother's Day! Happy Mother's Day to all you kick-ass moms out there. We are going to hangout and go flea marketing...

What about the her hubby?  He's in jail ... going to spend another 45 days there, and then go back to another county to face the violated parole.  Whats sad is Wyatt, whose 4, and clings to his mommy, she cries when she has to leave him with her in-laws.  I know how that feels as a mother; I lived something similar.  The only thing she can do at this point, is get her dignity and self respect back, get a job, divorce skank ass no good for nothing addict husband and his family, and get on with the purpose of living and getting her son back.  She's met someone too through all her turmoil, someone who has never touched a drug in his life, but who really seems to care, a real genuine article.  He's a likable guy.  Just when you think all hope is lost, things change.  Let's hope it progresses.

Yes, those documents will show us the evidence of who is reading the files and doing their job, and who was just shuffling lines and uploading, without truly proofreading these reports.  The motto is assume nothing, check everything! somebody's ass might get whacked, lets hope its not me.

well, that's life in Urbappalchia, hows life in your neck of the woods?

Hello .....Do I Look Like I Was Born Yesterday?

I have to admit that I was shocked at what happened here on 4th of July.  Since certain family members have moved back, I've been a little more stressed not only due to work demands but to their shenanigans of acting out and asking for money, and virtually expecting it.  It just blows my mind.  I hate to see them even drive up out front, and I cringe when they do, thinking what now.  Besides why does a couple with two children just come to visit and sit around? I work hard all day long, and the last thing I want is to be bombarded with 4 extra people in the house ... and for what? so they can sit around take up space, watch TV, expect me to feed them? or worse, take the opportunity to steal something from me?  Yep, worse! They badger to the point where you  feel coerced to give them money so they will just shut up, leave you alone and go away!

Lord Spoiled either takes up the whole couch or goes into my kitchen and kind of hangs out in there it makes me a little anxious on what he is looking for? or doing in there.  While they have been living with MIL (mother-in-law aka Mommy Dearest) or is that outlaws, they are still hard-pressed for money since neither of them have jobs as of yet.  They have asked me for money several times, to which I reply, "I don't have it."  What part of I don't have it, do they NOT understand.  I told them that there was nobody here but me to pay the mortgage, utilities, buy groceries, etc., and there is no leftover for handouts to them since they are both able-bodied and need to get a frickin' job!  I guess because Lord Spoiled has a pressing legal issue, it was beneath him to even consider getting a job up to this point, (or keep one which is why they are back).

Griszelda Mess and Lord Spoiled (aka daughter and son-in-law) both had pressing legal issues.  Monday (this week) he had to appear in court seven hours away, (of course Mommy Dearest footed that expense for "her child" as she calls him), and he is back in town; so obviously he got a slap on the hands and a fine? I don't know that story yet.  I guess him about dying from drugs in April wasn't enough for him.  He got caught with a controlled substance, and Griszelda got caught with possession of misdemeanor pot and paraphernalia (Lord Spoiled put in her purse!).  This is the whole reason they were two weeks late getting back up here while WE were stuck with their kids!

On the 4th, it was like a dejavu experience, just like old times, feeling canvassed for a steal by them; one in the front room, one in here talking to me, and where's my purse? OMG~!  It is sad that you feel like you can't trust your own family in the same room with anything valuable, including your bank card or checks, or any jewelry that might be laying around.  First off  Mother-In-Law denied them money so they come down here thinking I'm going to give it to them?  They kept thinking if they told me that they sold the couches out there in the garage (which belonged to them) to somebody for $50.00 and couldn't get the money from them until tomorrow, why would I not give them a loan until tomorrow? Well, let me tell you, here are two experienced con artists I am sorry to say.  I guess they think since they've lied to me so many times before that I would believe them?

I did understand that it was Prince Wyatt Earp's birthday and they wanted to perhaps buy him some things for his birthday, but mother-in-law made sure he had something for his birthday, and of course they had some little stuff out in the garage, so that didn't work for them as far as them trying to extract money out of me.  They were really pissed because Mother-In-Law denied them money to blow.  Next thing I know she says, "Can I borrow the camera? I want to take some pictures of Prince Earp on this birthday, and get some pictures of the kids down at the riverfront," and  my answer is No, again.  I don't want to risk getting my camera lost. There is such a crowd down there and people steal stuff.  No, I tell her.  As far as Prince Wyatt Earp's birthday I will be over there and will take some pictures for you.

Mind you, I kept tabs on my purse and I didn't go off and leave anything within reach of them, except maybe the camera, however, as I was preparing to leave for Prince's Earp's party I went to pick up my camera off the buffet and POOF! It was gone.  I guess if looks could kill somebody would have died right there.  More so than anger, I mean I was hot under the collar, but also hurt that she would do that to me after I told her no.  I immediately dialed their cellphone number and confronted her about it.  She adamantly denied taking my camera.  I demanded that if she took my camera with the intentions to hock or sell and perhaps already did, I wanted to know where to go to get it back.  I also told her that I was so deeply hurt and pissed off at the same time and my voice was cracking as I was nearly in tears.   She told me that one couldn't get money for a camera anyway that they had tried that blah..blah..and only got 25 bucks for one or something.  I was in tears here at this point, so I got off the phone with her blatantly denying she took it.

After hanging up, try to keep my composure, my youngest and I looked around the house thinking that perhaps I did lay it up somewhere as I was scattered because they were here badgering me for money.   After a few minutes the phone rang again with Griszelda on the other end and she said, "I guess I put your camera down in the diaper bag not realizing it."  Then the realization hit me like a ton of bricks.  Yes, she blatantly lied about taking it just maybe 30 minutes ago when she was here, and it just magically appeared in a diaper bag that never was in the house, UNREAL!.  Obviously her intentions to take it were less than honorable, ya think? and her lying to me hurt more than anything .... certainly more than the loss of a camera.  Since all this drama went on, my youngest refused to go to the birthday party for young Price Wyatt Earp, and I was not in that festive a mood either, but I did show up for five minutes, hugged and kissed him, got my camera and left, leaving her a disposable camera that I had bought for her.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, am I not the bitchiest Queen of all?"

Fairy sprinkle blessings, your ass!! ~

Yep, I should have done this post in Your Majesty, Queen Blogship's ranting style~!

June is half over, my how time flies ...

Well my son in law lost his job, not surprising, considering the immaturity level here. Not only did they run up the phone bill with a phone entrusted in his care from work, which was not supposed to be used as their ONLY phone source, but the laptop given to him was torn up. My daughter said something about the kids tearing it up, but ultimately the responsibility for work equipment falls only to their shoulders. I can't believe their mentality.

Since he lost his job, his mommy has supported them financially. She is moving them back to this area. Great. I am not that excited to have them back up here; this is where all the drugs are and they will be back on the wagon unfortunately. They both look good, and aren't acting like dope heads anymore, but time will tell. Their children certainly deserve parents they can count on. Right now his mom has the baby, and I have their oldest taking care of them while they supposedly are down there gathering up their stuff and obtaining a truck to move their things back seven hours.

What's new with me? Work today was a hard day, I'm tired and going to bed. David will leave to go on his cross country bike ride in two days. More on that later.

Goodnight, Gracie.
