How Does This Happen?

Today at lunchtime, it was a spur of the moment idea to make him a little postcard and post it on our shared blog along with a little sweet love and pep talk.   I have been a little concerned lately about his stamina and he pushes himself too, he's so stubborn.  I know when I talked to him last night they had all traveled 90 miles; their longest day yet, and I'm sure as soon as his head hit the pillow he was out like a light.

You can imagine my surprise when at 6:30 p.m. while sorting through my mail, which had a lot of junkmail in it this postcard fell out amongst the paper food advertisement mess!!!!! so I sent him back a picture email!

I was thrilled to death! and shocked that mail comes telepathically rather quickly, wouldn't you agree?

Wow! his timing was always impeccable! Unbelievable.

Hello .....Do I Look Like I Was Born Yesterday?

I have to admit that I was shocked at what happened here on 4th of July.  Since certain family members have moved back, I've been a little more stressed not only due to work demands but to their shenanigans of acting out and asking for money, and virtually expecting it.  It just blows my mind.  I hate to see them even drive up out front, and I cringe when they do, thinking what now.  Besides why does a couple with two children just come to visit and sit around? I work hard all day long, and the last thing I want is to be bombarded with 4 extra people in the house ... and for what? so they can sit around take up space, watch TV, expect me to feed them? or worse, take the opportunity to steal something from me?  Yep, worse! They badger to the point where you  feel coerced to give them money so they will just shut up, leave you alone and go away!

Lord Spoiled either takes up the whole couch or goes into my kitchen and kind of hangs out in there it makes me a little anxious on what he is looking for? or doing in there.  While they have been living with MIL (mother-in-law aka Mommy Dearest) or is that outlaws, they are still hard-pressed for money since neither of them have jobs as of yet.  They have asked me for money several times, to which I reply, "I don't have it."  What part of I don't have it, do they NOT understand.  I told them that there was nobody here but me to pay the mortgage, utilities, buy groceries, etc., and there is no leftover for handouts to them since they are both able-bodied and need to get a frickin' job!  I guess because Lord Spoiled has a pressing legal issue, it was beneath him to even consider getting a job up to this point, (or keep one which is why they are back).

Griszelda Mess and Lord Spoiled (aka daughter and son-in-law) both had pressing legal issues.  Monday (this week) he had to appear in court seven hours away, (of course Mommy Dearest footed that expense for "her child" as she calls him), and he is back in town; so obviously he got a slap on the hands and a fine? I don't know that story yet.  I guess him about dying from drugs in April wasn't enough for him.  He got caught with a controlled substance, and Griszelda got caught with possession of misdemeanor pot and paraphernalia (Lord Spoiled put in her purse!).  This is the whole reason they were two weeks late getting back up here while WE were stuck with their kids!

On the 4th, it was like a dejavu experience, just like old times, feeling canvassed for a steal by them; one in the front room, one in here talking to me, and where's my purse? OMG~!  It is sad that you feel like you can't trust your own family in the same room with anything valuable, including your bank card or checks, or any jewelry that might be laying around.  First off  Mother-In-Law denied them money so they come down here thinking I'm going to give it to them?  They kept thinking if they told me that they sold the couches out there in the garage (which belonged to them) to somebody for $50.00 and couldn't get the money from them until tomorrow, why would I not give them a loan until tomorrow? Well, let me tell you, here are two experienced con artists I am sorry to say.  I guess they think since they've lied to me so many times before that I would believe them?

I did understand that it was Prince Wyatt Earp's birthday and they wanted to perhaps buy him some things for his birthday, but mother-in-law made sure he had something for his birthday, and of course they had some little stuff out in the garage, so that didn't work for them as far as them trying to extract money out of me.  They were really pissed because Mother-In-Law denied them money to blow.  Next thing I know she says, "Can I borrow the camera? I want to take some pictures of Prince Earp on this birthday, and get some pictures of the kids down at the riverfront," and  my answer is No, again.  I don't want to risk getting my camera lost. There is such a crowd down there and people steal stuff.  No, I tell her.  As far as Prince Wyatt Earp's birthday I will be over there and will take some pictures for you.

Mind you, I kept tabs on my purse and I didn't go off and leave anything within reach of them, except maybe the camera, however, as I was preparing to leave for Prince's Earp's party I went to pick up my camera off the buffet and POOF! It was gone.  I guess if looks could kill somebody would have died right there.  More so than anger, I mean I was hot under the collar, but also hurt that she would do that to me after I told her no.  I immediately dialed their cellphone number and confronted her about it.  She adamantly denied taking my camera.  I demanded that if she took my camera with the intentions to hock or sell and perhaps already did, I wanted to know where to go to get it back.  I also told her that I was so deeply hurt and pissed off at the same time and my voice was cracking as I was nearly in tears.   She told me that one couldn't get money for a camera anyway that they had tried that blah..blah..and only got 25 bucks for one or something.  I was in tears here at this point, so I got off the phone with her blatantly denying she took it.

After hanging up, try to keep my composure, my youngest and I looked around the house thinking that perhaps I did lay it up somewhere as I was scattered because they were here badgering me for money.   After a few minutes the phone rang again with Griszelda on the other end and she said, "I guess I put your camera down in the diaper bag not realizing it."  Then the realization hit me like a ton of bricks.  Yes, she blatantly lied about taking it just maybe 30 minutes ago when she was here, and it just magically appeared in a diaper bag that never was in the house, UNREAL!.  Obviously her intentions to take it were less than honorable, ya think? and her lying to me hurt more than anything .... certainly more than the loss of a camera.  Since all this drama went on, my youngest refused to go to the birthday party for young Price Wyatt Earp, and I was not in that festive a mood either, but I did show up for five minutes, hugged and kissed him, got my camera and left, leaving her a disposable camera that I had bought for her.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, am I not the bitchiest Queen of all?"

Fairy sprinkle blessings, your ass!! ~

Yep, I should have done this post in Your Majesty, Queen Blogship's ranting style~!

The Bike Trek Update ...

Days ridden: 16
Rest Days: 2
Miles traveled so far: 912
Remaining miles: 2,888
Remaining riding days: 44
Hills climbed: too many

So far as I can tell, he left from his starting point in Seattle, traveling by way of Woodinville, Skykomish, Leavenworth/Chelan, Waterville/Douglas, Wilbur/Lincoln, Washington entering the great state of Idaho at Athol/Kootenai, traveling on through Clark Fork/Bonner, and finally into Montana, arriving at Libby/Lincoln/Eureka, Whitefish, Lake McDonald, Flathead, (yep still Montana) and into Rising Sun, Glacier, Valier, Pondera, Choteau, Teton, and into Great Falls, which I think is where he is presently!

He swears up and down that this is God's country, and absolutely breathtaking and picturesque! especially coming down the mountains in Washington State, and into Farragut Lake State Park in Northern Idaho.  He says he has over 600 pictures already if not more of the scenery and of landmarks so he can blog the journey for everybody on this trip. It's amazing to me and his knees are still holding out. There are a couple of part-time riders who are only riding a certain trek of it, but several have done this more than once especially the people who host it, and who in fact, do ride it. There is a truck who follows them carrying all their necessary supplies such as air mattresses, tents if needed, and just general supplies they would need.

I think there are 16 riders in all, and they have stayed in churches and at university halls and even a few cabins and tents.  On their rest days, when they don't ride they are free to explore the city they are in, get their own hotel room, and just enjoy themselves wherever they are.  He said while in Northern Idaho, a bear got into the truck and tore up his computer, a tall tale! I told him he just didn't want to update the trek (which is still private at this point), until he releases it for public viewing,  and while this could have been true about the bear in Northern Idaho, it was not! big fibber! LOL ... but it was true that his computer was broken and needed a part which did arrive yesterday and he fixed it.  YAY! If he hadn't called Saturday I might have been a little worried that the bear got him too! So far there have been no incidents or accidents for anybody involved, and they are all having a great time!  He sounds so happy and I couldn't be happier for him.

Well, he's got 44 days and counting down till he gets to the East Coast! I remember when we were counting down 44 days for the trip to start, seems like yesterday but I'm sure it doesn't to him!

Too funny ...

Yep, I'm a snooty patootie!

You know, I almost forgot I had this namesake blog at Blogstream. I think since I've had to revamp this blog and breathe new life into it, I think I'll bring whatever posts I had on this blogstream one since it was more or less an infant over there and close it over there once and for all! I just couldn't resist this after a little comment by one of my favorite bloggers~!

I could call this blog The Blogstream Sleeze! I mean Sneeze! couldn't I? about the goings on and nose-blowing in the underground of Blogstream's currents. Well now, that might be an interesting concept, and I might need to hire some informants! to go where no blogger has gone before ... to dig up the smut and the fakes! yikes and even today a blogger over there that used to be named Gary is now blogging as "Jerry," but at least he acknowledges he has multiple personalities and is in therapy, which is more than I can say for a few bloggers over there, who still need it!

So, how cheap are yuns willing to work? Ah, come on, where's your sense of adventure?

I know, I know, I'm such the bad girl but I just can't help it.  I'm easily amused what can I say.

and while I'm at it, oh never mind that one! LOL

Life in the Palace ...

I have to say over the last couple of weeks, I've been a little stressed out between work and all this extra aggravation. I was totally appalled at my daughter's behavior here a couple of days ago. Her personality is totally a Dr. Jekyll- Mr. Hyde and she just goes off and says anything at the most inappropriate times. Talk about acting out and she's the mother of two children. She is not only making a scene but is blatantly obvious she is not in control of her mouth. It makes me sick frankly. She has said some awful things even to me.

July 4th was really miserable for me to be honest. To start with they (my daughter and son-in-law) wanted $50.00 so here they come just to sit around basically until they get it, telling me some story about how they are going to have that money "tomorrow" and they will give it back to me. Of course, who cares is my thoughts and they can wait until tomorrow, why is so necessary they have the money today? They must be out of cigarettes, or worse she acts like she is using again and needs a fix. Her hair and clothes and overall appearance was disheveled. She was just talking crazy stuff, anger spewing, while her husband is leaned up against the jeep just standing there like a knot on a log, doing nothing about it, just letting her go and on being verbally abusive to everyone around her, including any neighbors who happen to be within earshot. I take little Isabella and come in and shut the door and tell them to leave with their little one asleep in his car seat.

Then it gets downright ugly because they don't get their way and expect a loan from me. She says she is not leaving until she gets the money. Even my son-in-law smarts off to me. I tell him to get his wife, and two kids in the jeep, and drive off and leave me alone. They know my financial status, and here are two able-bodied individuals who can get a damn job. After feeling worn down with the verbage and mental assault, I give them 13 bucks which is all I had, and tell them to just leave, that I can't deal with their shit. At this point, I don't even want to see either one of them pull up in front of my house, and if the phone rings I just cringe. I don't even know my own daughter anymore, what I saw was not her.

She also wanted to borrow my camera to take pictures, but I told her no, that I did not want my camera taken down to the riverfront with all the festivities and end up getting it lost, after all it belonged to me, and that I would buy them a disposable camera, which I did. I did realize it was their son's birthday and I understand the need for pictures on such an occasion. As I was preparing to leave, I went to pick my camera up off the top of the buffet and it was gone. I was pissed. I looked around for a bit thinking that perhaps I could have laid it up somewhere else, but in my gut I knew she had taken it. I was hoping she or her cohort in crime husband had not taken it to a friend's house or pawn shop to sell.

I dialed her cellphone number and called her on it, and asked her why she would take my camera like that without asking after being told no, and if she pawned it I wanted to know where it was, and that I felt betrayed by her. She swore to me she didn't take it, swore to me, and me and my other daughter hunted the house over for it causing a delay to get out the door. My youngest daughter at this point was disgusted by the whole thing and didn't even want to go around her sister. I knew deep-down in my heart she had taken it. She had opportunity, and was in dire need of money, and they had done this sort of thing before. I was broken hearted that I could not even trust her inside my home again.

After I confronted her on the phone and she lied to me about it and hung up, she returned a phone call a few minutes later telling me she found it accidentally in her son's diaper bag. Funny thing, his diaper bag didn't even come in the house. Her motives for taking my camera were just as I had suspected. I am still broken from it. I hate feeling this way. I hate it. I hate it. I don't know what will change around here. I still worry about my grandchildren and her mood swings and erratic behaviors. What am I to do?

Help~! Let Me Off This Disability Train !

The last week or so, actually a little longer, I have been having to type disability reports. I am never amazed at what people try to get a disability for. Of course, I only type the doctor's dictations, so I would have no way of knowing that some people would actually get disability for what they are asking for.

To apply for disability, especially in this state, (I don't know about other states), but one has to go not only for a medical evaluation but also for a psychological evaluation. Since our workload has changed somewhat, most of us are fighting for a medical report to type, nobody wants to type those long psychological reports. Most of these doctors cannot pronounce these drugs, nor spell them properly, and it is hilarious to listen to them pronounce and misspell them sometimes like ... does anybody know what this drug is? plum court ... Yep! I swear that is what she said folks~?! I bet you guys even know what this drug is, don't you?

These reports are quite lengthy and there is precise verbage involved which requires more attention than I wish to dedicate really! LOL ... which leaves of course more margin for error, right? I tellya they are downright boring! The content of which can be interesting at times, and also the doctors who dictate them, especially this one female doctor.

It used to be I supervised a group at work and we did this particular client back then when I worked in-house. She was very picky, always complaining, dictating this and then calling back and saying she wanted it changed this way or that, argggh...but I hear she's not so bad anymore, and lo and behold she came up on my transcription list for the day! She was also a bit comical and we often worried that she needed a psychological evaluation herself as she would be yelling in the background sometimes, hateful, and always, always had a television playing.

As I typed her report, I took the usual caution with her, asking if there were any format changes, things or quirks I needed to know, but I was told there was not, so I got the green light. As I was typing her, I became engrossed in the background television show! ...LOL ... obviously it was a story about male who was obese, and a moderator who was telling his life story as a kid, (to which I only got bits and pieces). The moderator's voice was quite animated (sounded like the guy who did the video about the many grammar uses of the word fuck!! you know the one I'm talking about). I couldn't make out if it were some type of learning seminar or lesson and I thought perhaps the dictator's children were watching it at one point. It could have been moral story series, who knows. At one point, he was narrating this part about about how poor Joe's relationship was affected by his obesity, (which is not a funny topic), but the way the narrative was going it was almost comical ... and then I hear the moderator say, "Is there someone out there for everyone?" ... "More on that when we come back..."

It cracked me up!!!

Well, I have to get back to work now, more on this later!

Did you guys also know that on blogger you can subscribe to people's blogs, that way you get an email message when they update or post something, and you can also put up a blogroll  link (instead of the regular link list like I got, which I may do) on people you read so everybody else can see their what their latest post title is and follow the links from your blog.  Blogger is working to make this place a little more interactive and user-friendly with the updated comment section, but it is sure taking me time to learn things like this.  I do after all have Blogger for Dummies over there on a link list, which is a great tool when you get stuck...sometimes figuring out how THEY say to fix it is hard...LOL!  To add a blogroll and a subscription widget, all you have to do is add that widget option from your layout considering of course you HAVE a normal layout. This particular layout of mine says Add A Gadget, and when I tried to put the regular subscribe thingy in here but of course it did not work either! arggggh ...  this custom template is becoming quite the headache! My advice is that if you come to Blogger, don't use this template! LOL ...

Speaking of headache, I didn't make coffee this morning so now I sit at lunch trying to get in my caffeine intake! and work has been nothing but transcribing this long-winded female psychiatric doctor.  Who knew that they did such tests on people. I think these reports have not been less than 25 minutes long, no kidding, and in actuality when one has to type this long a report, it usually takes twice the dictating time, which would mean about an hour here just to type this one report; this is nonstop typing, and it's killing my arms and shoulders. Is there a masseus in the house?

Well, now lunch is over, and it's back to the grind! see yuns later!

**UPDATE**

It seems that certain parties would have people to believe that there is threat to "her" security because of this posting and my having a sitemeter over here, which she dedicated a whole post to on Blogstream; however as anybody can plainly see there is no IP addy here.  I was merely pointing out the fact that snoopers were in the neighborhood.  Hope they enjoyed themselves.  Here's my ass ... kiss it ... by the way!
