well, today in the world of FQA'ing reports...
"unfortunately there are no medications to decrease the size of her plans"
...plans, glands, same thing...?
and if she has big plans, a dose of psychotropic drugs could decrease any plan to stay sane and functioning!
LOL
... and today Isabella left for 4-H camp. She will be gone for 4 days! I won't know what to do with myself! She took too much stuff, such a diva, and she is going to have a blast! Boys?! Yes! These going in 5th graders think that if they walk down the hall with a boy that constitutes 'dating'... uhmm... I hated to burst her "false perception" but that's not dating! I suppose if they kiss each other they have to marry too, and this is what I told Bella...so NO 'dating' allowed, at least for a while!
surprise! surprise!
and what the hell are you doing here? couldn't you call first? was pretty much the greeting Bella and I got from her mother, who supposedly she says just got off work and bellows, "We got plans to go out and have a drink with ...." My comeback to her was, "Well you're broke, too broke to give your daughter money to take to 4-H camp next week so you said last night, but not too broke to go out and have a few drinks tonight?...did Do-Less hit his mommy up for money? ... and as far as dropping in I didn't think your daughter would need an appt, she was at a friends house and wanted to stop by. In my mind I'm wondering if either one of them worked the hours they said they did. Oh well, they are back to their old tricks, and are using MIL (mother-in-law) pretty good to include taking money for rent however not paying May or June rent and using her for babysitting service. I'm thinking with both of them working, what are they spending their money on? It appears that Do-less husband had a prescription for Xanax and Percocet, two failed drug tests through Social Services (they have to undergo these to get their son back which they have temporary custody of...that won't last long). Tell me what doctor gives prescriptions to a known addict? and now he's on the methadone clinic too and according to his mommy its legit? Yeah right.
Bella at 10, is visiting with her little friends she is making and she is realizing that her parents pale in comparison to 'normal, functioning couples' and even though she stayed at her mom's yesterday she called me within an hour to come pick her up.
I tell yuns, if I had some ready cash, I would have hit Bonnaroo this summer, took Bella too, it would have been fun.
Any of you bloggers out there head up to Manchester? Its like a whole village complete with all of kinds of interesting stuff to do. Not to mention, I heard the performance lineup was pretty good to include comics and musicians.
oooo, I see for those of us who missed they have live streaming from Dell...lets check it out...http://www.youtube.com/bonnaroo or check out what you missed at Bonnaroo.com.

June already?
Where did the month of May go? Time slips right on by so fast. Over the memorial day weekend I took BellaRose to an amusement park in Mason, Ohio, Kings Island. The temperatures were a humid 100 degrees in the shade and being outside was pretty much miserable due to the heat, but we had a birthday to celebrate at Kings Island and so we did! I had bought the tickets at home here however once you get up there you soon realize that if you don't have a Fast Lane pass you would be standing in line for ever!!!! So, my son and his wife and her son, my youngest daughter Bobbi, Bella and myself and later on my sister, Belinda had to spend an extra 200 bucks to get Fast Lane passes! I have to say though it was worth every penny not to have to stand in that heat to wait to get on rides, and the admission not only got you in to the ride park but also into Soak City, which is a new water park they have.
The only regret I have is not getting Bella's rollercoaster expression while riding The Beast or taking enough pictures of the trip! The Beast travels 7,359 feet and still holds the record as the longest wooden coaster in the world. The ride lasts over four minutes and features two lift-hills and a max speed of over 64 mph. That first drop and curve is a doozey! I was not expecting Bella to be a little daredevil, but she rode everything she could unless there was a height requirement. My son and her rode this bungee drop thing, its called Xtreme Skyflyer is a Skycoaster, it requires suiting up, and lifted to way up there, free fall of about 3 to 4 seconds and then they swing back and forths until it stops. I was thinking she would freak at the free fall, something I would never get on, but she loved the adrenalin rush, and she said it was like flying. She was bummed she could not ride the Flight of Fear or Fire Hawk, both of which I rode with Bobbi Jo more than once, but my favorite ride was the Diamondback, a smooth ride, well unless you had the very back seat! LOL Bobbi's favorite right was Delirium, but it looks like it would make one nauseous so I passed on that. We all had fun and the heat finally exhausted itself around 6:30 at the water park and by 10 we watched the fireworks and left.
The park admission must have been a million that day, Saturday, May 26th. Safety is always a concern, and I had warned Bella about running off or walking ahead. Mostly her and Daniel would wander a little bit behind the rest of us, so I would remind me to keep up. Bobbi Jo often walks ahead of the group, and Bella likes to run after her Aunt Bobbi. Bella caught up with her, and I assumed they were together, but then she came back to walk with Michelle and myself and Daniel. Thinking Bobbi would be mad at her, however Bella darted off to catch back up with Bobbi, despite my telling her to stay with us. It happens that quick. I never noticed Bobbi Jo or Bella assuming they were ahead of us.
When we walked out the gate and out to the end of the parking lot to meet the shuttle bus back to our hotel, which seemed the longest walk EVER, there was Bobbi, but no Bella. Bobbi said she was walking with her, then went back to walk with us, and I said yes, but then she darted back off to walk with you. At that point, I was paralyzed with fear, a scream would not even come out of my mouth, and of the hundreds of people walking out of the park, Bella is out there by herself somewhere? I had no time for a breakdown. I began to run in my exhausted state, screaming out her name, back towards the entrance gate. I told anyone that was listening to call security, that a child was missing. Unless you've had this happen to you, you cannot imagine the panic.
As I was making my way, hollering for Bella, someone said there is a child in the office, and I was praying it was her. When I saw her she ran to hug me, and all was well with the world again. I've told Bella what to do in situations if she was to get separated in a busy place. She realized that the person wearing the 'pink' turned out not to be her Aunt Bobbi and she became scared when she could not see us; however due to strangers who provided her guidance to the nearest person who could help her, she ended up in a safe place until we could retrieve her, and to those unsung heroes I thank you. In an instant she could have been lost to us forever, luckily everything ended on a positive note, and for that I am grateful.

"He knew a bum was our president."

I don't care who ya are that's funny!
Wade In The Water ...not!
I grew up near a creek, and in the summer it was our local hangout. Us kids would trek down to Tygart Creek and hike and wade and whatever else, we had the place to ourselves! On a few occasions you would spy a snake on top the water coming downstream and have to get out until it passed by, and once I stepped on a mud puppy and that was kind scary, but try to get my 20 year old near lake water...she freaks! Actually she never grew up near a creek, always had an above-ground pool at her dad's house, so she was spoiled. Also, her fear stems from this show called "River Monsters" and she swears up and down weird things could live in murky water and if she can't see the bottom she's not going in....
actually that show does creep one out on what could possibly be underneath the water and you just cannot see it! Come to think of it, I'm not sure I would venture in creek or river water myself anymore! You never really know what lives down there...LOL

Computer problems again?! wtf???
Don't you just feel like whing and crying like a baby when your puter just doesn't work?
Well, I don't know what the hell happened, but it appears something happened to not allow my Windows to come up; rather what came up was the blue screen of fuckupedness! OMGawd!
So...it says if you are seeing this error for the first time, we suggest you restart your computer; then should this fuckupedness continue then perhaps you should check your disk space and BIOS, but since I thought perhaps it was a security issue, I contact Microsoft Security Essentials support but they could not fix it because if Windows was up, there was no reason why their security software would fail, so they suggested I contact Windows....well, if you aren't willing to give them a $199 bucks you'd best put your 'geek on' and figure it out yourself...
Well, I damn sure was not going to settle, so I sat my butt down here and figured I would try to bring this computer back from scratch. I reinstalled my original Windows XP Home Edition disk and after countless hours of manipulation and upgrades and updates, I am up and running again! ha! Now, if I could find my stuff (my computer thinks I am trying to transfer from an old computer to the new computer but its all the same damn computer! so I'm not sure how to download that wizard of documents from my other partition) instead of losing all my stuff would be nice, but not an absolute necessity at this point, ya know? at least I can surf and blog ... damnit!
Oh, and I have a new little toy! a Nook! I found and bought a 16 GB Nook for a ridiculous price at a pawn shop, and we're tickled with it! its not an I-Pad but it still has internet capability and apps to include games for Isabella, plus I would like to keep her reading all summer so its a plus! Of course, I have to fight for time to play with it! Best of all its portable, I can do it anywhere in house with my wi-fi! It sure beats sitting here at the desk! I think I'll cozy into bed and play with my Nook! See yuns later!

Give Me Your Worst Curse!

Okay tell me. Are you a potty-mouth?
I have to admit that I can be quite the potty-mouth should the occasion arise. I have an extensive vocabulary. However, I have mellowed out with age and having a 9 year old present at all times.
I blame my potty-mouth on my parents, cause I grew up in the most potty-mouthed house in the south. I swear. My parents could put the best cussers to shame. Everybody cussed at my house growing up, and Goddamnits and Fuck-Its were commonplace. I never knew what it was like growing up normally not to hear cuss words. I thought everybody cussed...LOL
Unfortunately when I got out into the real word, cussing like a sailor was not that impressive with folks. They were like, WTF? I have never heard such a musical accompaniment of gasps, sighs, and utter disbelief at the repertoire of cuss words flying freely from my mouth, sometimes neglecting any attempt at being tactful. Shame on me! Problem was I was a young single (no wonder, huh?) mother and unlike my predecessors before me, family traditions would have to be broken when out of the mouth of babes, I heard my 4 year old son spew out some pretty foul cuss words, I have to sincerely look at the source, Yours Truly!
Now, if that doesn't wake one up, then it should! I hardly ever cursed from that point on once I realized its impact. Imagine that all those years I was honing my fine art of explicative expression and it was over! It truly makes one look bad, like they grew up in Appalachia, for goodness sakes!
