Mondays Blah...and drifting mind...

don't try to suck up!
I was tired before this day began, now I'm ready for a nap and its only 5 p.m.  I think little Bella is feeling the same way, yawning as she came through the door from school.  She is having some issues with some girls on the bus.  She's a pretty young thing at only 8, smart, and has the persona and personality of drawing others to her, both in a good and a bad way.  She'll get through it.

In other news, the boss lady is back today from India.  She had a family tragedy with a couple of deaths of her in-laws due a boating accident gone bad which cut her trip short, but as far as work and such we really needed her back.  We have things that need planned out, discussed, and otherwise protocoled.  (Is that a word?).  She called me with questions today and I brought her up status about whats been going on.

Workload seemed massive on the amount of files we had, two people missing in action today.  That always puts more work on the other members of the FQA tribe.  Its like covering vacation time.  That in itself, can be quite an issue.  Independent contractors work when they want to, not when we want them to.  It can be a pain in the arse, especially around the holidays.  Everybody wants off, but we still have to cover the workload regardless.  We do have dictators who will dictate on an actual holiday and stat files.  Even with two people off we still got 'er done!

I guess I'm not the only one who has crazy in the family, its everywhere.  One of the girls who helps manage part of the workload told me her mother was put in jail; she got drunk and disorderly (I assume) as bond was set at 10,000 bucks? yeah, sounds like there was a little more to the story than meets the eye?  I'm not one to judge, cause I got crazy here, to include the in-laws, especially MIL (mother-in-law), who wanted to have a "family meeting" about her son and my daughter's suspected deceit over money-getting?...nah.  I told her those two are grownup and I am not involving myself in their affairs.  If MIL and hubby gave them cash money and are now realizing that they should not have, oh well, too bad, so sad.  Stupidity overrides any intelligence this woman supposedly has when it comes to her spoiled brat of a son.  Both MIL and her henpecked hubby already traveled this road once, and obviously are not too smart in realizing a pattern of behavior and deceit here involving money.  Family meeting at my house?  It ain't gonna happen.

Its like I told MIL, I am raising my daughter's child here, I am not hosting a bash session here over two adults (my grown daughter and her supposed do-less husband).  What did she expect me to do with little eyes and ears here taking in all this about her mother?  What about her brother who would also be toted to this meeting at my house? ahh...let me say this again.  No!!  My little Bella's mother (my grown daughter) is physically ill that's for sure, deceitful and still using drugs? I don't know.   Only they know what they are doing, and both my daughter and son-in-law are perfectly capable of this type of behavior, eliciting sympathy and pity over health issues requiring cash money for this, that, and the other.  Why would I care?  I care about my daughter, but financially she will have to get a medical card or some other means by which to acquire medical care, and if she is truly ill enough, she needs to be talking to the people who can help her.   Isn't everyone suppose to hold themselves accountable for their own behavior? I am not a judge or jury, nor will I partake in such.  I just want to be left alone.  I refuse to be a victim of money-needing drama induced by two people who cannot live life any other way or sucked into the merry-go-round cycle of MIL and henpecked hubby wanting proof to substantiate their stupidity at handing them money.

How was your Monday?

Mother-In-Law blues...

I want to choke this bitch...seriously!

She comes waltzing in here with clothes for my little Bella...well, she says, "Isabella will have more things to choose from to wear to school tomorrow"... like she bought any of it; it was second-hand from some friend of the family, but of course she had to beam like she was bringing us the winning lottery ticket...hohum...boring.  Besides, BellaRose has plenty of stylish clothes, which I should say the bitch is lacking in any style! You should see some of her gawdy stuff, its pathetic!

Okay, allright, so this isn't really why I'm pissed...I'm pissed because she is still neglecting Wyatt (Bella's brother, he's 4).  He still hasn't seen a dentist in 2 years, nor is any adult in that house (there are 4 of them) teaching Wyatt to go to the bathroom like a big boy instead of wearing diapers.  The kid isn't potty-trained, still at nearly 5 years old in July.  She just shakes her head, blames my daughter.  I tell her that my daughter blames her, after all, MIL does have custody of Wyatt, its HER responsibility to get 'er done.  MIL says, well, I think I will take him to see a family doctor, and see what they recommend, have him checked.  Seriously, she thinks Wyatt doesn't feel 'wet' but I can tell you he does.  He knows when he pisses and poops on himself, whining about needing his pullup changed.  What is the use of pullups?  A crutch? because he doesn't use them properly, nor does anybody else in that house care about it.  I told Anita that a family physician would probably recommend some therapy because obviously there is a psychological overlay with going to the bathroom for some reason.  I mean he won't even attempt to pull down his pants, or even go into the bathroom to even sit on the potty.  Its ridiculous.  I told my daughter and Anita, it was good thing he didn't live here, because if he did, those diapers would be a thing of the past, and darn quick too! and that I just did not understand the need to invent excuses as to why this is not being addressed.

Wyatt refuses to even talk about his potty habits, even while trying to engage him in a conversation about being a big boy, and going to school, and being around other kids his age.  He just retorts at me stating, "I don't want to talk about it." I told him somebody needed to talk about it, so when MIL came back after a run for her baby spoiled-ass grown son, we had a little discussion.

I've heard MIL bark for the last year that Wyatt needed to be in daycare, yet she neglects putting him in there; same thing making excuses for not having him potty trained.  She thinks putting him in daycare is going to fix his potty training.  Yeah, that's it, leave the job to somebody else to do.  That's the mentality out there.  She does everything for her 30 year old drug addicted, pussy-assed, baby boy who can't hold a job down because he "suffers from anxiety?" (you mean drug addiction don't you?) but yet she neglects her own grandson?  She's too busy buying herself clothes and thinking of her grown son (aka Lord Spoiled).  She is still making excuses, that Jeremy, who is married to my daughter (aka Griszelda Mess), now has been infected with a spider bite; has a place on his arm, she said.  I suggested to her it was not a spider bite, but merely a needle stick gone awry that caused it.  Is she really that stupid?  OhMyGawd!

She has been giving both her grown son and my daughter money out the ass (since she got a settlement on her shit house that burnt to the ground due to all the nasty clothes pushed up against the pilot light) and all they have done is blow it; MIL is no better, she spends money like its nobody's business.  She never did clean or have nice things in her home, but rather spent it on herself.  My daughter says she has medical bills, using her illness as a means of extorting money, but neither her or Jeremy have paid a bill in their life...much less take any spending or drug money they got and pay a bill? are you kidding me? That is what I told MIL.  I told her she was a fool with a capital F if she believed that load of crapshit.  She should know better; after all, she has lost thousands upon thousands of dollars on these two no goods for nothings, but yet, she continues to keep them? Making excuses for them?  I don't get it, never will.

I would like to see my grown daughter get out of that mess of a family and no good for nothing relationship, get back into a life of some sort, and get her own son out of that household.  However, she is too weak-willed to stand on her own and do the right and decent thing.  Her and Jeremy's latest scam is to use Wyatt as a tax deduction to get a big tax return.  However, Wyatt has been in the permanent custody of MIL and her husband, NOT Jeremy or Rae (my daughter) for nearly all of last year, so if they do this they will be defrauding the government BIG TIME.  I advised them not do this.  I was told that MIL said it was fine, she wasn't going to get anything back for Wyatt, they would have to pay on their taxes, so it was okay with her if they claimed him.  I told MIL that she would be headed to prison too, and they could all share a cell! I told her she had better think twice about it.
A shared cell would be just good enough for them all.  You know, that's pretty much what they are all living in right now.  I don't suppose it would be any different but at least Wyatt would be free of neglect.

Grass Snakes Harmless? Read on...

Garden Grass Snakes also known as Garter Snakes (Thamnophissirtalis) can be dangerous. Yes, grass snakes, not rattlesnakes. Here's why.

A couple in Sweetwater, Texas, had a lot of potted plants. During a recent cold spell, the wife was bringing a lot of them indoors to protect them from a possible freeze.

It turned out that a little green garden grass snake was hidden in one of the plants. When it had warmed up, it slithered out and the wife saw it go under the sofa.

She let out a very loud scream.

The husband (who was taking a shower) ran out into the living room naked to see what the problem was. She told him there was a snake under the sofa. He got down on the floor on his hands and knees to look for it. About that time the family dog came and cold-nosed him on the behind. He thought the snake had bitten him, so he screamed and fell over on the floor.

His wife thought he had had a heart attack, so she covered him up, told him to lie still and called an ambulance. The attendants rushed in, would not listen to his protests, loaded him on the stretcher, and started carrying him out.

About that time, the snake came out from under the sofa and the Emergency Medical Technician saw it and dropped his end of the stretcher. That's when the man broke his leg and why he is still in the hospital.

The wife still had the problem of the snake in the house, so she called on a neighbor who volunteered to capture the snake. He armed himself with a rolled-up newspaper and began poking under the couch. Soon he decided it was gone and told the woman, who sat down on the sofa in relief. But while relaxing, her hand dangled in between the cushions, where she felt the snake wriggling around.

She screamed and fainted, the snake rushed back under the sofa.

The neighbor man, seeing her lying there passed out, tried to use CPR to revive her. The neighbor's wife, who had just returned from shopping at the grocery store, saw her husband's mouth on the woman's mouth and slammed her husband in the back of the head with a bag of canned goods, knocking him out and cutting his scalp to a point where it needed stitches.

The noise woke the woman from her dead faint and she saw her neighbor lying on the floor with his wife bending over him, so she assumed that the snake had bitten him. She went to the kitchen and got a small bottle of whiskey, and began pouring it down the man's throat.

By now, the police had arrived. Breathe here.....

They saw the unconscious man, smelled the whiskey, and assumed that a drunken fight had occurred. They were about to arrest them all, when the women tried to explain how it all happened over a little green snake.

The police called an ambulance, which took away the neighbor and his sobbing wife.

Now, the little snake again crawled out from under the sofa and one of the policemen drew his gun and fired at it. He missed the snake and hit the leg of the end table. The table fell over, the lamp on it shattered and, as the bulb broke, it started a fire in the drapes.

The other policeman tried to beat out the flames, and fell through the window into the yard on top of the family dog who, startled, jumped out and raced into the street, where an oncoming car swerved to avoid it and smashed into the parked police car.

Meanwhile, neighbors saw the burning drapes and called in the fire department. The firemen had started raising the fire ladder when they were halfway down the street. The rising ladder tore out the overhead wires, put out the power, and disconnected the telephones in a ten-square city block area (but they did get the house fire out).

Time passed! Both men were discharged from the hospital, the house was repaired, the dog came home, the police acquired a new car and all was right with their world.

A while later they were watching TV and the weatherman announced a cold snap for that night. The wife asked her husband if he thought they should bring in their plants for the night.

And that's when he shot her.

hahaha, and you think you're having a bad day?

By the way, I got this in an email...I don't know who the actual author is; however it is a quite funny and dramatic story, isn't it?
