its been a grueling day on the workfront. There are accounts transitioning from another platform to the one we do on a daily basis and today when viewing the report it had 2 dates, one at the very top like a letter spelled out Feburary 27, 2017 and the DATE OF SERVICE filled in as 02/27/2017 under the pt name and birthdate. Looked rather odd, and since this was a newly transitioned account I thought that perhaps there was a formatting issue when setting this account up on the platform, so I went to who used to be my boss's boss, who is now my new boss, and it brought QA'ing this account to a halt for a little while until somebody consulted somebody and somebody is going to look into it. So, after much debate and a few hours later I might add...we were told to go ahead and process these reports as is. Of course I only had 30 more minutes to work so I obliged....so glad this day is over!
There is also another girl, who I know well, that got a bit snippy with me thinking I was telling her what to do...complaining that she doesn't have a supervisor (she fell under another supervisor, my old boss who mans another platform) and pretty much didn't appreciate me consorting with the boss, who actually asked me to have her help on the account. I understand she is a little frustrated but for criteys sakes when there is work on there, late files and since we have been low on work, my suggestion was to learn a new account, get acquainted, so she wouldn't be out of work. I called up my old boss and I told her that she needed to do something about this girl, and make sure she understands who her supervisor is going to be and try not to rock the boat. After all, I'm just looking out for the both of us!
She later apologized to me, but gee willickers doesn't she know that if we don't get our foot in on these new accounts, when it comes time to get whacked, the ones who are more knowledgeable and who can do a variety of accounts are the ones who are going to keep a job!
Where's my glass of whine? ...oh there it is ... good ole Moscato...this one homegrown from a local winery! Its not overly sweet, its delicious!
