Mood swings and "wicked bitch of the North" symptomatology.  

Today I'm feeling better myself...than yesterday.  

However, I need to go back and listen and find out what symptomatically befalls this wicked bitch who lives in the North! 

Well for one, her BMI is 62 which puts her roughly 400 pounds and she is not the least bit interested in doing anything about it;  She is young at only 21, has some female problems too.  She has a fiancee and wants a baby..doesn't understand the physical implications and complications of pregnancy in such a morbidly obese state.  Doctor was very concerned and sincerely advised her to put effort into weight management..but you know the old adage, "You can take a horse to water but you can't make 'em drink."

Late Nighter

Couldn't get to sleep, shit on my mind.

Today I almost called off work but being the diligent ass that I am, I got up and slithered up to my work station, now taking a lunch break ... still eating leftover lasagna from Easter dinner.

I'm tired.  As usual.  My body aches like it got run over by a reindeer.

My endocrinology guy said if I have too much thyroid hormone replacement it could cause that.  My level was elevated he said when I saw him a little over a week ago.  I think I'll knock off a few days of dosing, see if it improves.

End of story.  Darn these tears that fall while I'm trying to work.  I don't have time for that.

My Catch-All Brassiere!

Yep my bra is a hot destination. It’s like a junk drawer, but much cooler. It attracts every crumb of potato chip, popcorn, nuts/seeds, crackers, cookies, whatever... isn't there a titty bib or something out there to keep this from happening...its not like I'm gonna save it for later...LOL...that's it, my new invention...the catch all boobie bib for real busted girls! mass produce it, make a killin'....

Ranting...

Well it appears Friday afternoon, upper management decided that overtime should be done Friday and Saturday and emails were flying out late Friday evening.  Most of the dayshift people had already been logged out and didn't even see the emails until this morning.  I did not get a phone call telling me that OT was approved Friday & Saturday nor did some other people I work with who logged out before 5 PM.  In fact, QA staff were informed earlier in the week that whatever overtime we got through the week on any given day, we had to "compensate" by taking off or taking longer lunches so that we did not go over 40 hours for the week.  However, it appears that OT applies to some and not to all ... so unfair not to even be notified...

This morning I sent an email directly to my boss to inquire about this bullshit.  She tells me that management "freaked out" that there was no need for overtime.  Still--lame answer and does not change the fact that some got OT pay and the rest of us were not granted that opportunity.

Yet another example of piss poor management of this company.  

GAWD...good way to start off a Monday!!!

Who Got Whacked?

 

Well it appears that we lost 3 Operations Managers who were over the transcriptionists, 11 QA people, and 1 training and documentation person.  Ouch, and that is just the Operations Team.  I still have a job for that I'm thankful, but it saddens me that others I knew do not.   :(

gloomy rainy day...

 

It seems I have pulled every long report on the system today...so much for any good production numbers.  Speaking of which this is something new they are implementing now, that all QA staff are required to make certain production quotas...not even sure what it is per se...but I'm sure they'll let us know if we do not.  As far as the MT employees (the ones who type the report not QA it), they made them all independent contractors and word is from the CEO that cuts are going to be made.  Not sure what that means exactly...AGAIN...usually we don't get a memo from the big people.  In any event, some people have to proof only certain accts wherein the reports are from onshore people and this doesn't require a full voice to typed proofing, but all I seem to get is those reports that require 100% voice to type and long ones...ugh :(  It makes you want to open it, not read it, and just upload it if all they want  is numbers...a certain amount reports every hour or some shit.  :(

Will my car insurance go up if its my fault?

 

well it appears I don't get an award per se but my fault is forgiven acc to State Farm being I am 10 years accident-free driver, so I won't suffer any high premiums to my comprehensive car insurance.  that is gr8 news!

but my car? she is in sad shape...yuns know plastic bumpers and grills don't hold up these days...however my rental car is awesome! :)

Sloppy MT work...

 Nothing like a 25 minute STAT dictation first thing Monday morning.... 

I'm reading along...as this female doctor is dictating..."She endorses a cough which has made her rib cage and abdominal wall muscles sore, mayonnaise, decreased appetite with little intake of food and fluids by mouth, and sleeping most of the week..." 

oops back up ... mayonnaise?  I'm pretty sure that's malaise...

yep US MTs...do they really think this is correct instead of just leaving a blank line... 

I don't have the patience for this today...my body feels like its been runover by a Mack truck when in reality its just because I rammed my front end into a van over the weekend....gawd..  I felt like a crash test dummy.... :(  I'm about out of Advil cause I'm eating them like candy...

I am carless.  once again.  Calling my insurance agent this morning at 9.  I'm gonna beg Scott to pay for me a massage.
