Me ... this morning ...

Calm my arse! time is running out to get kiddo to school I'm flippin' out ... demon teen is at her calmest ...

Not in my usual places ... searching ..searching ... OMG finally found them totally by accident someplace they would ordinarily never be ... and how they got there is a total mystery!

Oops I did it again....

well I worked on an account I don't usually do (the one account that is about ready to remove our services ...not that we're not good, its just we don't have enough people to meet their picky demands!) and did obsess a little over getting everything right.  There were only 40 pages of instructions ... OMG ... well you bet your sweet bippee this ole gal ain't working next weekend...nope...its Sunday and I'm exhausted already ... oh boy.

this weekend calls for a pint size of heaven in the form of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia...mmmgood!

Got ice cream?

off to Slade next weekend ...

Natural Bridge State Park - Slade, KY, United States

Son has decided it would be nice to get the family together on his birthday weekend, so he's rented a cabin or two and head count so far is 8, probably a few more at Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Of course the teen says if it ain't got wifi I ain't going! hahaha! I told her we'd be busy hiking and getting some much needed fresh air and quality time with those we love, so I'm looking forward to getting out of Dodge a few days! The big attraction is the natural sandstone arch that spans 78 feet long, 65 feet high, 12 feet thick and 20 feet wide located in the midst of the Daniel Boone National Forest, near the Red River Gorge Geological Area. Good thing they have a skylift up to it! otherwise that's a haul... and there are other trails and hiking, one I was reading had 600 steps? gracious! Nothing man-made atop the arch, its just you, fresh air, blue sky and hopefully with people who like ya so they don't push ya off! You can bet I'm not gonna get too close to the edge but should be a great place to get some wonderful pictures! There's supposedly a Lovers Leap around there too, (also one at Hawk's Eye WV), the stuff romantic novels are made of I suppose...or the tragic end of one.

Long Week...and an even longer weekend.

Got up this morning and spent 4 hours working since we are mandated to work 4 hours at least this weekend and more if we can.  I was planning on work more this evening but it hasn't worked out for me. We are at a critical situation on the workfront or lose the account, so I will do everything I can to help probably working tomorrow too.

In other news, teen has been in school for what 8 days, and she has detention Monday and Tuesday for walking off campus one day last week.  She also hasn't ridden the bus one time to or from school. A friend's mother has been taking her to school and she has been walking home with that friend from which I pick her up.  I would prefer she ride the bus but her ODD is in full swing since she's been home.  Its driving me nuts...

One of the first few days, she had texted me that she was not feeling well, since she had the female thingy going on, I opted to go get her, what I didn't realize is that it was not that...it was because she stayed up too late on social media or her phone and came home and passed out pretty much. She pulled this a few days later, and I told her that she would have to go by the nurses station and/or the counselors office and if they deemed her sick then they would call me to pick her up.  The second time she said if I didn't come pick her up, she would just leave, to which I told her there would be consequences.  She didn't care she walked off campus.  Just this past Friday she was texting me that she was falling  asleep again, wanted me to come pick her up to which I promptly replied no.  She actually made it through the day without walking off campus again, but after having to go through this ordeal will she try to limit herself and actually go to bed at a decent hour?

Doubt it ... I gave her a chance to prove that she could self-limit, but its obvious that isn't going to happen, so I will be cutting her off all wifi by 10 or 10:30 at the latest on school nights.  Maybe then she'll lay down and sleep and make it through a school day without being sleepy.  This texting me from school is just crazy.  Why schools are allowing cellphones is beyond me. They are just a distraction to the educational experience.  Its turned into a social circus.  I don't know this world is coming to.  :(

Yes, we in full swing ODD at its finest.  Meds can't happen soon enough. I just have to keep reminding myself of this...

Can I Get a Witness ?

 Minions Quotes:

POOF! ... I feel the same way!  all I ever see is bills in my mailbox! I owe I think about $2100 in medical bills, probably add a couple of hundred to that ... they call me at least 2x a week, i just hit reject that call .. I'll pick one out of hat ... maybe.   just once I'd like to see a nice gift that I could actually cash from an anonymous benefactor ... LOL ...  and I'd go to where the earth, sky and water meet.  yeah.

Just When You Think ...

your job couldn't get any worse...

it does...

and lets not mention the stress at home ...

Yes~!  this was the theme of my day yesterday ...

I took two Fuckitol's and I can't say what today will bring.

I need some time off ...

Yes, you were a hard landing..

If you fall I'll be there -Ground::
awkwardly tripping and falling over something ... my right wrist was twisted as I went down and hit something ... maybe the bed frame

... thats my mouse wrist and I find it only hurts when I move it a certain way, lifting a water bottle can be a little painful ... my lip was busted so much so I have a blood hematoma on the inside and nasty round bruise on the outside left bottom lip ...

my left knee hit the hardwood floor ...

I think about the time my left elbow did too...

both swollen and feel broken

and bruised (probably worse by tomorrow) ...

ugh ...

so much for soft landings ... :(

Relaxing Weekend ...

is over, damn it! The teen spent most of it with her friend at their house, so I got a break I so desperately needed. Now its Sunday and while discussing what happened the last 3 days over this bus situation it appears that the teen is still being obstinate about riding the bus. She says its lame and there are skanky stinky people and she is afraid of getting lice ... and scabies and God forbid she could get the bubonic plaque or some other horrifying disease... OMG ... she would rather walk than ride the bus! The school is way out of walking distance, but oh well ... I guess she'll have to get up earlier and hit the road. I told her to make sure she took an umbrella as it might rain on her! LOL Her case manager is coming tomorrow and there has got to be a plan worked out. I am not driving this kid to school when she can ride a bus! I told her to swipe her some body spray under her nostrils to sniff, stick her headset in and mind her P's and Q's and ride the frickin' bus. She isn't anybody special. However, you know how it is parents get penalized if they children are truant. Oppositional Defiant Disorder at its finest. God! she drives me nuts.
