Who wants to be a Nighthawk? sit around The Diner,
order up some coffee,
hashbrowns & eggs over easy,
and a side order of toast!
Come on in all you nighthawks, gypsies and insomniacs! Gather around the coffee urn tonight and lets make it a late nighter… I think for me…tonight I’ll have me some eggs over easy, some bacon (not too crisp), and a side order of toast! Yep, that’ll be perfect…
“So, what’ll it be for you, sugar?”
*the voice recorded message player and the chat have been taken down, but it sure was nice to put a voice to the blog face* and always nice to interact with my blog friends. If you weren't here, you should have been...but there's always a next time!*
Enjoy this diner scene from Jim Jarmusch's "Coffee and Cigarettes". It's so uncomfortably wonderful!
If you would like to listen to the previously posted Tom Waits playlist to include songs off his "Nighthawks at the Diner" you can find it by clicking here.
Big thanks to those who came to hang out at The Diner. Everybody is welcome to come hang out and chat and meet other bloggers here at my site or at the music site. I'll post a notice of when and which blog it'll be, preferably over at the music site. I'd love to see more Blogger friends come in and chat. I also hope you guys check the other links on the music site!
