Ethnopathie | Cerveau & Psycho

Damn, its been a whirlwind the last few months and not necessarily in a good way.  I have gone back to work which may or may not be a good thing ... word is still out on that one! I'm so tired of working.

In other news...Little Queenie got out of foster care, came home to me and I thought getting a job would be a good start considering she wants to smoke dope and use vapes to support her habit, however she quit that job after 4 days ... and went onto become a bully, lazy, thinks she is entitled to be taken care of ... newly turned 18-year-old.  For example, she had to have a new phone ordered, which was on my dollar, and had to wait 3 or 4 days for Apple to deliver, so she had a meltdown in the car screaming and when we got back home, continued that behavior despite my trying to diffuse her ... threw a shit fit cause she would be without a phone ... so she threw stuff around, including breaking an antique table, a wall divider around my work computer, threw my laptop off the back deck which was my baby ... put 2 holes in the wall, one with slamming the front door ... whew! the word psycho still stays in my mind.

Her mother, Griszelda Mess and stepdad Lord Spoiled (by his mother at 40 years of age) finally made it back to Kentucky just in the nick of time to save their daughter (Little Queenie) from homelessness! I told her in no uncertain terms that she was NOT living at my house anymore, that I was done with her fits and neediness, and hope she gets some head help ... otherwise her next home will be jail!

3 émotions que les psychopathes et les narcissiques utilisent pour ...

She's lucky I didn't press charges.  I miss my laptop.  :( gonna cost me 225 dollars just to fix it.  Not to mention I had to patch holes and just the emotional turmoil I had to go through.  This was not my first rodeo with this child either.  I am way too old for this shit.  I swear all I need is a good room to work from and I'd run away! and hey, I'm housebroken too!

In all seriousness, I think the only way to escape this madness is actually move off! ... make me an offer I can't refuse...go ahead!

What's Worse? ...

I'm not sure whats worse, being quarantined due to COVID and major restrictions or loosening up the belt and allowing business to open and people totally forgetting or just don't care to distance, wear a mask and the stores allowing what looks to be way over capacity.  its awful.

Got weekend plans...

“...To make your staycation as mind-expanding, enlightening and relaxing as possible, we suggest spending at least one full day in each room.“

Dontcha just hate it...

when you stub your toes against something really hard ... and from your lips escapes some expletives ...

if I didn't know better I would say that two are broken...my itty third and fourth piggies.
:((

COVID-19

I'd be lying if I didn't say that this virus scares the beejeezus outta me.  It is spreading like wildfire totally out of control.  Healthcare personnel are falling prey as are our other first-line defense workers.  I pray for all of us. If we do catch the virus, don't fool yourself into believing the healthcare people are going to save you, and god forbid if you need a respirator because there may not be any.  Next question will be, "does the 30 year old trump the 60 year old for a respirator?"

If you listen to Trump all is well...right.  "We are doing a good job"...like he needs a pat on the back?  yeah, too little too late.  You watch the news and videos out there and realize the true grit of the situation.  My daughter who is in California, said she felt like out there that they were all in some kind of apocalypse movie, and when she'd wake up it would be a new reality.

Wake up? ... it would be nice if people would wake up...wake up to the idea of social distancing and just staying the fuck home.

I'm not sure how safe any of us really are at this point if we can carry it home on our clothes, shoes, grocery bags, or food containers.  Where will it end? or will it...

THE DASH

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning… to the end. He noted that first came the date of birth and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth and now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own, the cars… the house… the cash. What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard; are there things you’d like to change? For you never know how much time is left that still can be rearranged. To be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved before. If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile… remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So when your eulogy is being read, with your life’s actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you lived your dash?

 and then its all over.

so sad to hear of Harry Hamid's demise.  He was an exceptional writer, overall a genuinely decent, kind, and funny guy.  You are missed.  :((
