We all got down to the Riverfront excited to see the Nina & the Pinta ships docked there, but there were NO SHIPS! WTF? They were supposed there until Monday morning. Come to find out they pulled out early this morning at dawn because of the rising river water at the port site. We were totally bummed! :(( but they do have a website and touring schedule so they’ll pass through again.

This doctor is listening to Pavarotti and his big voice is nearly taking over this dictation that I am having to listen to on a patient! it is very dramatic...highs, lows...one of Pavarotti's best! but it shouldn't be played during a patient dictation, good grief! I can barely hear the doctor over it, but then again who can hear anything but Pavarotti when he would open his mouth, huh?!

What a way to wake up the morning! LOL

well it appears my immediate boss lost her position and she will know what it feels like to have to meet production at 3 1/2 cents a line because she has to work like I do as a quality assurance editor. I hate to say it serves her right but ... now she'll get a taste of what we have had to put up with. She wasn't too sympathetic to us QA team members--well...well...call it karma shit. just glad my name was not on that list. I report to who was her supervisor now. wow. 3 people got demoted it would seem to include my immediate boss, or should I say ex boss...and 6 people got totally whacked. shit.

Blah.

I'm tired.

hi there. being a Quality Analyst for a medical transcription company doesn't have too many perks except an occasional ROFLMAO at some typos or Speech Recognition (SR) boo-boos I find on nearly a daily basis...

SR Drafted: "The patient is currently single and is in a sedating relationship."

Dictated: The patient is currently single and is in a dating relationship. (I need one of those!) :)

MT typed that this female patient is vulvar aggressive. (and you thought PMS was bad...LOL!) Yep even you can be a vulvar aggressive female, if you're a female that is! haha! (actually dictated as verbal aggression)

The Pt will need to have cereal H&Hs...haha! should be serial H&Hs (hemoglobin and hematocrits)

He spoke in cartoon voices in an attempt to be humerus.

"The patient is in for followup of her solitary right kitty" ...WTF?

"The patient was playing with an eye pad during therapy."

skitsofrenic...? wow! now here's a good speller!
